Why the hall is quiet until ten

Our one house rule, and how a vote of members made the mornings the best part of the day.

Two years ago the members voted on one thing: should the hall be quiet in the morning? Eighty per cent said yes.

What it means

Until ten, calls go in the booths, chats go to the kitchen, and the hall belongs to whoever needs to think.

People come earlier, get more done before lunch, and are happier to talk after it.
